Description

The Harmsco HAC-10-LR-W lead removal cartridge employs a specially formulated ceramic lead removal matrix plus pulverized activated carbon. In addition to lead removal, the filter features a dual-stage process made up of pulverized activated carbon and durable polyolefin fibers which are wet and thermally bonded for improved contaminant removal. The deep filter media has high dirt holding capacity without channeling or bypass to ensure the greatest quality water. The activated carbon cartridges were designed to outperform many canister and impregnated cartridges and have been certified by a national laboratory using test procedures described in NSF Standards 42 and 53.
