Description
The Pentek BP-420-50 replacement features a glazed polypropylene felt that resists corrosive fluids such as acids, oils, organic solvents and microorganisms. The semi-rigid cylindrical design allows the filter to be crushed and incinerated for easier disposal. Created by needle-punching two layers of synthetic fibers together, the result is higher solids loading capabilities when compared to similar mesh fabrics. Following this process, the outermost surface fibers of this filter media are then glazed to forge a bond that reduces migration possibilities.
