The Hydronix 20″ String Wound Water Filter is the economical replacement for the Liquatec SWF-25-2030 String Wound Filter. Also known as part number SWC-25-2030 and PP Filter, this water filter reduces particles as small as 30 microns. Constructed with 100% polypropylene fiber cord media, the Hydronix filter can be used with municipal or well water. With high dirt holding capacity and flow rate, this string filter reduces waterborne contaminants like scale, dirt, sediment, silt and sand.
Ideal for commercial and residential applications, different wound patterns based on different micron ratings will ensure that you get the appropriate filter for your specific applications. The operating temperature capacity of this Hydronix string filter ranges from 40 degrees to 165 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 degrees to 73.9 degrees Celsius). Do not use water that is of unknown quality or microbiologically unsafe without proper disinfection.
