The Hydronix SPC-25-1001 10″ Pleated Sediment Filter is an economical replacement for the Liquatec SPF-25-1001 filter. This sediment filter effectively reduces waterborne particles and contaminants as small as 1 micron. Resistant to chemicals and bacteria, this water filter has a high dirt holding capacity that extends the time between filter changes. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SPF-25-1001, this Hydronix pleated filter also replaces Pentek 255481-43 and Watts FM-1-975.

Also known as part number SPC-25-1001, the Hydronix 10″ sediment pleated filter is made from durable non-woven polyester and should not be used with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection. The media around the polypropylene core is pleated for added strength and the ends of this sediment cartridge are immersed in a thermo setting vinyl plastisol. By embedding and sealing each end of the pleat, the three components are fused together to form a unified end cap and gasket.
