The 3M Aqua-Pure AP817 Replacement for 3M Aqua-Pure AP815 Water Filter Cartridge reduces sediment and chlorine taste and odor from your water. This whole house water filter features Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) filter media and a polyethylene outer shell that is very effective at purifying water. This heavy duty water filter provides a better flow rate, more contact time, and different construction than the AP815, but can be used in all the same housings. The 3M Aqua-Pure AP817 also includes Neoprene gaskets on both the top and the bottom of the filter cartridge to provide exceptional sealing in any housing, helping to prevent bypass of unfiltered water down-stream.
